Deployment

These pages describe the steps from packages to a working, mounted cluster, in the order in which the work happens.

The pre-flight checklist confirms that the decisions from Planning & Sizing are made before anything is installed. Prepare the operating system sets up each machine. Install the server components installs the Master Server, Chunkservers, Metalogger, and GUI on those machines. A PRO cluster then gets its license. The machines that will use the cluster get clients. First mount and verification proves that data really flows. Starting and stopping the cluster covers the order that those operations follow from then on.
