Man pages
The manual pages MooseFS installs, reproduced here as the product ships them. A page carries what man prints on a machine with the packages installed, and nothing else: the subject itself is owned by Reference, and Command line tools is the page that says which tool does which job.
Every name the packages install stands below, including the 56 that share a manual page with another tool. Look a name up here; read what the tool is for on the tools page.
The number is the manual section the page lives in, the one man takes as its first argument. The packages install pages in sections 1 for the tools a user runs, 5 for the configuration files, 7 for the system as a whole, and 8 for the daemons and the tools an administrator runs. The section is part of the address of a page rather than a note about it: mfsmaster and mfsmaster.cfg are two pages, and man 5 mfsmaster.cfg is what reaches the second one.
