mfsmount.cfg

MooseFS mount daemon config file.

This page reproduces the manual page mfsmount.cfg(5) as the product ships it: the text man mfsmount.cfg prints on a machine where the packages are installed. It is not edited here, and where it disagrees with the rest of this documentation, the documentation is the side kept against the sources. What the subject is: Mount options.

Description

This is the config file that will be read by the mfsmount daemon when it starts. It can be used to specify defaults for mfsmount.

FORMAT

Empty lines and lines that start with a hash (#) or semicolon (;) sign are ignored. Every other line should be one of the following:

one mount option

several mount options, separated by commas

default mountpoint, which must begin with a slash ("/") sign and be a fully qualified path

Each option should be defined only once. Repeated definitions will be accepted, but there is no guarantee which option will win.

For list of all available options, see mfsmount(8)

Examples

Example config, which sets the nosuid and nodev parameters, specifies master host, master connection password and the mount point:

nosuid,nodev
mfsmaster=mfsmaster
mfspassword=secret
/mnt/mfs
